That is probably a good way to partition the taskloading. I'd be very interested in your server side stuff. The graphs are good, I was thinking about using gnuplot. I'll look at that library tonight. I haven't seen weather data from the 520 bridge before and the camera images are good. If I can get good camera images of the Clinton and Mulkiteo ferry docks and the traffic map that would be good. One more question, what are you using for the tidal data? Xtide?

Yes - XTide.

The 520 weather data used to be graphics (easier to scrape, but harder to use), then was gone for about 6 months - the newer version just came on line in the last month or so.

I'm actually not running it since I only need to hit it once a day I access one of the publicly available installs. I'd need to look it up but I think it's on a university system - let me know if you want to know where. Alternately I've used NOAA for the tide data as well.

I'd like to see how you're getting the tide data if you wouldn't mind.

Sorry I never got back to you.

I believe the xTide URL I use is http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/locations/5706.html

I scrape the specifics I want using a server side script written in C. I imagine it could pretty easily be done in PH using rexs.

To resurrect an old thread...

I was just curious - how is the battery life in the Nokia 770? I'm considering picking up something like this to use as a touchscreen remote, but if I have to charge it every hour, it wouldn't work too well.

I have one and battery life is pretty good.

I mostly leave mine on the wall plugged in - but when I have had it unplugged it is impressive. I have the screen set to never time out - and I think it's still good for 8 hours
