I have gone through the exact same process as jeremybe and have had the same results :(

jjthom,
Without PowerHome running, try launching the SDM by itself. In the SDM window (click on the log area), type DM and a command window will appear. Type ISRESPONDING and press enter.
Let me know if it works standalone or not.

It wasn't working standalone either. I powered the PLC off and on after 10 seconds and all appears well.
Never had to do that before. Oh well, I won't forget it next time.
