That last message seems to be saying the timercoreapp12 download finished. What I don't see is the individual device link query.

Maybe we should go back to basics. Under Setup-Controllers the PLC is checked active and everything is checked in Settings except Status and ACK only. In Devices-Insteon the correct controller is displayed and all are active. In Insteon Explorer under Devices nothing is RED. Then unplug the PLC hold down the set button and plug it back in for 10 seconds. Reinit PH and download Core Apps then Add Min. From my experience don’t have both PLM and PLC plugged in at the same time.

OK... I have done all that BeachBum suggested. But still the same issues. We I choose to download Core Apps it says "downloading core apps please wait...." is doesn't look like it is downloading anything on the PLM logs... and the "downloading core apps please wait" message never goes away. I decided to skip ahead and Load Min... it worked but takes a very long time to load. But nothing works when it is done. Am I suppose to see the light on the side of the PLC flash when I turne a switch on (seems like I remember that I used to).

The last time I had a similar problem was a problem with my USB. I eventually swapped systems.

NEVER MIND I FIGURED OUT HOW TO INSTALL A NEW COPY
I decided to start over with a fresh copy of PH by installing it in a different folder. But when I rerun the installation it doesn't give me an option to install in another folder.

I have switched from both my COM ports and it was working on one the COM ports for a year. What has me baffled is shouldn't I see the light on the side of the PLM or PLC flash when a switch is turned on? At what point does the PLC start flashing after.. the moment it is plugged in and receives messages... after the core app download or when all the switch address are added to it? Thanks.

I installed a new copy of PH and connected to the PLC. Exactly the same thing is happening. Only this time when loading the core app to the PLC I left it sit... turns out that it eventually gave the status as complete but took over an hour to do so. Then I fired back up my old PH DB and connected to the PLC and loaded the PH ID's to the PLC. It took over 30 mins to load all my 78 ID's and that was running it as minimal. Is this normal?

Is there a way to clear out the pending operations... that were meant for my PLM that doesn't work and now all the other operations that are meant for the PLC are stuck behind them in the pending queue? In coping links from the PLC to the PLM and then back to a new PLC I have created a ton of DELETE and CREATE messages that are trying to write to the old PLC and PLM. They error out all my devices before the new links for the new PLC can be created.

OK... sorry for all the postings... I am about back to where I started now... I have the PLC app downloading at a normal speed now and device ID's have been added. However, I still have not getting any communication between the PLC and the devices. This is exactly what is happening with the original PLC, PLM and now the new PLC. I am using the same recepticle that has been working for almost a year. I don't know of anything I may have added to my environment to change this. Here are my logs.

In case there is noise at your PLC try plugging in your Access Point on the PLC like piggy back. This will directly transmit your powerline traffic to the other Access Point bypassing any local noise. How did you get around the long downloads? Who is 0B 63 75?

0B 63 75 is the very first device (swithlinc) on the list to try. I will try and move my AP to the PLC and see if the shows anything.
It is a bit strange but I logged into the PLC with the smarthome timer and then changed the Port=com1 on the logs. Before when I tried to do this when PH was using the SDM it would lock up... however, it alwasy showed as connecting to the right COM port so wasn't really sure if that was an issue.

I’m not sure about SmartHome Timer and SDM coexisting at the same time. COM Port must be right as PH talked to the PLC. Check Help-About-Controllers for Com Port.
On another note in a different thread you got a msg about min PLM firmware 63. I replied I was running 52. Incorrect, I am running 63. FYI

Use a good 3 wire extension cord; plug the PLC into one end and the other into a receptacle in another room. Two PLCs and one PLM do not work at the current location. Perhaps the power supply of something on that circuit, like the PC or TV or something else on that circuit has started to absorb the powerline signals. Other folks have posted that situation. Everything was working fine, and then one day things stopped. The last post I saw was a power supply in the PC causing the problem. May not be your situation but it costs no money to try assuming you have a long extension cord.

OK... I took my wireless Access Point and plugged into the back of the PLC... everything started working...WOW... I am not sure why everything was good for almost a year and then one day not a single signals makes it to the PLC except wirelessly. That is odd. I don't think I am going to have the reliablity with my signals with everything being run across the Access Points. But it looks like I don't have a chose unless I run an extension cord to another room. Weird... I just want to thank everyone for your helpful comments and being patient with me through this odd issue that turned out to be so simple. Thanks again.

Pete's suggestion proves you have some device, appliance, something that is so electrically noisy or so attenuating that powerline signals are not possible from where the PLC is now plugged in. You are only half way home. Of course you can ignore it. Might run forever sending and receiving the PLC signal wirelessly but I would not count on it. Start unplugging appliances (not turning them off) and pulling the air gap switch on Insteon devices on the circuit or near it until you find the problem and replace it if it is an Insteon device or put a FilterLinc on it. If it is an Insteon device you might see an error trend on the Insteon Explorer Reports (not the PowerHome Reports).

Glad that identified your problem. Typically the most noise happens to be where you plug your power line controller into no matter the type. The reason being you’re tethered to the PC. I’ve found if you isolate all computer related equipment from the circuit you won’t have a problem. Anything and everything that touches my computer passes through a FilterLinc first including the UPS except for any devices that sends signals on the power line.

Just a suggestion that wasn't mentioned. - when you first connect the PLM before starting powerhome.
Go into device manager and see which virtual COM port was assigned (for me it was COM9) - you need to change the settings in the Setup-Controller [Settings] menu, or you'll get a "critical error"
