Dave,
A PLM link database display function is a good diagnostic tool. The ISY has an option for displaying both the PLM and individual device link database along with a compare function which identifies link records that do not match expectation.
The PLM display can be problematic. The ISY uses an 0269 followed by repeated 026A commands. If an inbound Group command is received by the PLM during the 026A get next loop, the next link record retrieved is the one after the link record that matches the inbound Group message.
GadgetGuy,
Thanks for the feedback on the wireless PLM. I will order one so I can resolve the link database access problem. I'll release a new SHN Utility build when the problem is fixed. The ALDB Medium should have retrieved all the link records.
The lack of Insteon Raw Traffic does indicate a link record problem.
EDIT: unless the lack of Insteon Raw Traffic is total. That is, even direct device outbound traffic from PH2 does not appear in the Insteon Ras Log. That would not be a link record problem.

GadgetGuy,
The wireless PLM is reacting strangely. The old I1 Set MSB/Peek (Medium option) method of reading the link database works for one link record only when reading the 1st link record. After that all the Peeks return 00 which makes it look like that is the only link record. The PLM continues to respond with 00 to Peeks until an ALDB Medium command is executed by the PLM. Then the Peeks work again. If the link database read starts with link record 2 the Set MSB/Peek method (Medium) retrieves the remainder of the link database.
The ALDM Medium option works for the entire link database.
If the ALDM Medium is not working what version of the SHN Utility is installed? The Window Title should say Simplehomenet Utility Suite vxxxx

There is a later version of the Utility on the SHN web site. I don't remember fixing a problem with the ALDB Medium option but if that option does not work with the wireless PLM try downloading the current version of the Utility. That is what I used to test the wireless PLM I just received from Smarthome. It is labeled v1.0 so I don't think I have a later PLM than yours.

Lee - I just downloaded the SHN Utility v2.02a (the latest) and it is chugging along fetching my 2448PLM records as we speak.
I'll keep a record of its finds to compare with any future losses that may occur (although since I have loaded the Full PH db to the PLM I haven't had any hiccups yet).
Thanks. I check for updates to the Utility periodically, but hadn't caught this one yet.
