The upload you fixed I sent via Chrome (you can tell
Chrome entries because for some stupid reason, Chrome
inserts LFCR chars after every 54? characters)
As the later post indicated, I could not even upload at
all via IE. The forum kept indicating the image had to
be jpg/png/etc and under 150KB. It was a 94KB jpg image
which should have worked.
I don't think the forum likes me.

If I were a betting person I would go with Dave's last thought. You may have been bitten by an add-in or whatever they call them in Chrome. I stop using it because of that.

Ken,
I logged into the server via FTP and can confirm that the files did upload under IE10 (it looks like you tried 3 times). However, using IE10, Im able to reproduce your results so its not just you. The uploads work for me to but the upload window never goes away and returns the image tags. So it definitely looks like IE10 has an issue with the upload functions that I'll have to try and work out.
I can confirm though that both Firefox and Chrome have worked for me thus far.
Dave.

Ok, I think Ive got the upload problem fixed for all 3 browsers (IE, FireFox, Chrome). I have successfully tested both image and file uploads on all 3 browsers with confirmed success.
Please let me know if you have any upload issues (and the browser you used).
Thanks,
Dave.

OK - just for the heck of it, I'll try now and see what
happens.
This is from Chrome and the picture below( assuming it
works) is our amazing housebroken dog . . .

Well Previewing the Post I would have to say the problem
still lives. All I see is a image name string but not an
image.

OK - back to the original thread idea, that is, cannot
access the PH web server on port 81.
Just happened again.
From the PH computer I was UNABLE to access the server
via http://127.0.0.1:81.
When I ran IE Connection Diagnostics I got a result that
said "The remote connection or device won't accept the
connection."
I then shut down PH (not initialized) and verified it was
absent from the Task Manager.
Upon restart PH opened its window but it was only
populated with the Menu and Tool Bar Icons, as well as
the bottom of the window status info (eg, Date).
The rest of the window was totally blank (white) and the
"busy" icon continued to spin. When I tried to kill
execution by "End Task" in the Task Manager, nothing
happened but when I clicked on the PH window's close "X"
in the top right corner, the window and the Task were
closed.
I then restarted PH again and this time it took awhile
(ie, ~15 seconds) but then started OK and is working
normally now. I can access also now access port 81 from
any computer.

And it just happened again this morning.
Unable to access PH web server from desktop computer.
Tried from PH server using both Chrome and IE. Neither worked to access port 81 (the PH port) but both worked to access port 80 (my PRTG Network Monitor).
Could not access PH from 127.0.0.1:81 either.
Did a Restart of PH and it started up normally and allowed instant access to the web site again.
Guess it's time to do a reinstall of PH per Dave's earlier recommendation and see it that helps.

May be similar to what I have been seeing for a while. When I restart or reinit PH, the ports are not freed and I can't access anything. I need to restart the computer to get control back.
