I downloaded version 1.00.1 of the powerhome software yesterday. I decide to start by just moving my current macros from the CM11A controller. Here is my problem, I have a motion sensor with and ID of A3 and a different senor with an Id of M9. After I set up the sensors, activity for both shows up in the event log but only the M9 sensor status shows up on the x10 status screen. A3 is displayed on the status screen, but its status is not changed when an event occurs. I have uninstalled (including deleting the database files) and reinstalled. I have switched to the sample database and made my changed there. The result is always the same.

This seems to have something to do with the macros in the CM11A controller. When I unload the macros everything works just fine. I had wanted to use some fast macros with the powerhome software, is this possible?

Another user posted the same problem. Seemingly, if a fast macro exists, then the corresponding trigger in PowerHome (or the status for that matter) does not seem to fire. I recently ordered another CM11A so that I could test this situation, but have not gotten around to doing so. You say that it shows up in the log, but doesnt change the status. If possible, could you post the actual bytes that show up in the log when the A3 command comes in? It may be possible that an additional byte or other information is also being sent when a fast macro exists. If this is the case, I should be able to either program around it or interpret this situation and handle it that way. When the A3 command is received, just post the byte values within the log for the A3 command, the previous command and the next command and that should help a great deal.

Dave.
