I am not using Hue or Milights....not very familiar with either.
This Hue emulator bridge not only emulates, but can also handle native (real) Hue devices.
It also offers UDP and other network protocol support that the prior bridge didn't. So, not being familiar with Milight, I can't properly answer your question.

From the READ.ME file of the newest Hue Emulator:
Emulates Philips Hue api to other home automation gateways such as an Amazon Echo. The Bridge handles basic commands such as "On", "Off" and "brightness" commands of the hue protocol. This bridge can control most devices that have a distinct API.
In the cases of systems that require authorization and/or have API's that cannot be handled in the current method, a module may need to be built. The Harmony Hub is such a module and so is the Nest module. The Bridge has helpers to build devices for the gateway for the Logitech Harmony Hub, Vera, Vera Lite or Vera Edge, Nest and the ability to proxy all of your real Hue bridges behind this bridge.
Alternatively the Bridge supports custom calls as well using http/https/udp and tcp such as the LimitlessLED/MiLight bulbs using the UDP protocol. Binary data is supported with UDP/TCP.
This bridge was built to help put the Internet of Things together.

There have been a few posts concerning Alexa support. I know that most people are using the Hue emulator bridge which seems to work well for most people.
Ive
also seen someone using IFTTT to achieve Alexa control. Ive been testing some new functions that will be available in the next release as well. The only
problem with my approach is that it requires the user to setup an AWS developer account on Amazon and then copy/adjust/paste the AWS code to their account
so
that it will interface with PowerHome. Other than the pain of going through this (there are several steps involved), it seems pretty flexible and works
fairly
well.
Ive had one request to support the new Google equivalent of Alexa but it would probably be sometime before I could even look at it (definitely not until I
get
the next version out).

Tony,
My understanding is for google Version from your phone
is that you need to have physical google device like
Google Home same goes for Amazon echo. So you can't
connect with ha-bridge just with phone.
for google phone to control directly for example you
have to have physical hub like Philips Hue hub and
account. (so no PH interface)
there are other ways to get voice to control PH , in
past used the android app tasker and voice control.

Yep. Figured that out. Picked up an Echo Dot to play as it's much cheaper than a Home. All is well!
