Help - is this supported by PH?

Global Cache Flex-IP-P iTach Flex Smart End-Point, Ethernet (with PoE)

Link

I am having just HORRIBLE luck with getting internet out to my remote outdoor BBQ area. My wireless bridge and wired GC100-06 were literally burnt to a crisp due to an Insteon appliance link going up in flames (moisture likely got to it - my fault).

I am thinking I will instead run hardwire to a POE switch for my POE cams and also this itach flex (to provide IR input to the stereo)....if this itach device is supported. I will then put it all in a moisture-proof outdoor enclosure.

Steve,

Unfortunately, the GC Flex devices use a different
protocol than the other GC devices and is not
currently compatible. I actually have a sample Flex
device so will be adding support for it as soon as I
can. Unfortunately, I don't plan to have the support
within the next version (the Z-wave version) as Im
long overdue on getting this out and need to release
as soon as Ive got the z-wave protocol stable.

Not sure of a timeframe, but I would expect to have
the support in the release following z-wave.

No problem...I will be sticking with the GC-100 style for now....proven functionality is always best.

Steve,

Ive had pretty good luck getting GC-100's off of ebay.
My original GC-100-12 died on me (ethernet port went
south) and the cost for a new one was just more than I
wanted to spend. I went ahead and got three used ones
off ebay (1 to replace my bad one and two more just so I
could use the serial ports as ethernet connected ports).
