I’ve got ph_sendemail working fine with Outlook but I can’t get ph_sendsmtpemail to work. Based on the forum examples, I think I’ve got it right: ph_sendsmtpemail("smtp.att.yahoo.com",465,"fromname@bellsout h.net,loginname@bellsouth.net,password","sendtoname@bellsout h.net","subject line","email body"); however, this evaluates to a “2” in Formula Builder. Bellsouth (AT&T) server does require a secure connection (SSL) - is this a problem or does someone see something I’ve got wrong?

AT&T specifies to use port 465 - this is the port I use in Outlook which works correctly.

Thanks,

Looks like a space was added between the t & h in bellsouth when posted.

I finally got sendsmtpemail to work. I had to change the smtp port to 25 in the ph_sendsmtpemail command and then enabled SSL encryption for outgoing emails in my antivirus software - Avast - Mail Accounts – att.yahoo.com, port 465.

There may be an easier way but this does work.
