Jony,
UPB USB PIM's can be used in either serial emulation (a virtual port is created) or in USB mode. PowerHome supports the USB PIM in serial emulation mode. You can get the necessary serial emulation drivers here: (http://power-home.com/download/PLM_USB_Drivers.zip. These are
the same drivers that the USB PLM (Insteon controller uses).
Once you've installed the drivers, you should be able to see the COM port in the Device Manager (right click "My Computer", Properties, Hardware, Device Manager) under "Ports". It should show as "USB Serial Port".
You may have a problem getting the PIM to use the drivers though since you've already plugged in the PIM without having first loaded the drivers. I know one other user who was never able to get the PIM to use the drivers. You may need to identify the USB device within the Device Manager and remove it, load the drivers, and then plug the PIM in.
Once you've got a COM port assigned to the PIM, you should be able to communicate with it via PowerHome.
Dave.

If you are in XP go to Start then Search, Files enter ftbusui.dll. See if it shows one in the Windows\ system32 anything directory.

Sounds like the unzip didn’t go right. Unzip the folder then run CDM 2.04.06. It should start running in a DOS window. When you get through and do a search it should show in windows\system32\drvstore…..
