Is there a way to print a macro as a text file?

You can Export it and open it with Notepad but I don’t like the format and I don’t think that is what you’re after. You can print it ( V2.1b) after you change the layout to Landscape and I’m sure you could print to file but I haven’t tested that part.

Maybe it is a versional thing. . . can't find an "Export". Can you give me a little more detail on the process? My goal is to copy and paste into forum. . .

Click on macro on the left pane not the plus. Hover over the macro on the right and right click.

Thanks for your help, but that wasn't what I had in mind. In another post Tony directed me to a post with a macro description:
<snip>
Set Global PHONE_LOG ""
Label next
Set System [LOCAL1] ph_comrecvchar( 4 )
<snip>
I hate to think you guys re-type this stuff when you are exchanging examples. Is there some way to extract a pseudo-macro like the above snip.
Bob

I built a web page to display macro listings and I copy and paste from that. Dave also added a Print function, which you could likely use with an ASCII driver.

No. It reads the macro from the DB and displays it.

I'm still interested in a text output for macros. I haven't found the "print" function you spoke of, and I'm alternately interested in the HTML approach.

The latest version of PH includes printing support in the File menu. From the PH Explorer, go to Macros, then your macro, click on File, Print. There is also Print Setup and Preview.
I just found that the generic print driver may not work as it looks like it prints the same as it looks in the PH Explorer. Also, it seems that long lines that wrap are not shown correctly in the preview.
Here is a link to the macro listing PSP page.

Tony, in experimenting trying to print the macro I found if you Scale it at 65 and then go to Default and select Portrait it will print correctly. I also played with Generic with no luck what so ever. I think it lies in the way Dave is presenting the data.

So I guess 1.03.4.12 isn't recent enough for the Macro print. . .
