I have an 8 button keypadlinc and i would like PH to be able to send commands to each button. I have tried to get the address from each button but each address from each button is the exact same address as button #1 (and the same address printed on the switch) I have tried the auto-discovery and it too lists the same address as #1 for each of the remaining 7 buttons. I contacted Smartlabs and the tech said its like a condo with apartments, one address but dif. room numbers.... so... how do i get the "room numbers"?

Thanks.
newbie.

A KeypadLinc has one Insteon address. Each button on the KPL is a different Group number. Button 1 is Group 1. Button 2 is Group 2, etc. You send a command to the Group number representing the button you want to turn on or off.
