Oh, but you can be the “Master of Ceremonies” …. Maybe we can automate the grill. On the serious side we could open up a video conference but then we could do that anytime. I look at this as more of a user’s group bull session rather than a technical discussion group. See you Sunday……

Actually, maybe as a separate event, I was thinking/hoping that Dave could host a teleconference (I don't think we all necessarily need to see each other 8-} ) to discuss PH with a wider audience.

The “Second Annual PH Users Group Bull Session” went off without a hitch. I learned “wiring closet” no longer applies to a closet but can expand to a room in the house. Let’s see if you can match the right people.

OK, so the “Third Annual PH Users Group Bull Session” again went off without a hitch. Again there are no new news other than Dave is working feverishly putting together the next whatever with “by this year” optimism. Just a few bugs seem to be lurking in the process. Ken was quieter this year as it seems his computer has frozen like the weather he left behind in the great white north. Jeff, we thought of you but Chili’s didn’t have any way to conference a meeting. They don’t even have WiFi.
Tried to upload a picture but won’t go. Hopefully Dave can post it here.

The GadgetGuy was indeed quiet as he sat in humbled awe of the
massive field pack of collected electronics carried by the BeachBum, as

including the widely rumored and much anticipated 2014 HiFi, Low

streamlined Underflow/Overflow Accumulator Trap, and 360 degree
polarized dispersing confabulator network.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Ok, well, I'm glad you all had a good meeting, but it appears (at least to me) that the "Annual PH Users Group Bull Session" is a private, invitation-only thing (as I never saw it previously announced, etc), but if you guys want to go out for a beer that's fine with me, I've never been popular anyway. 8-} However, I still think an annual "open PH teleconference to discuss issues and the future of PH" might be beneficial to Dave, and perhaps enjoyable for those of us not in the "in" crowd. 8-}
Just my $.02, I could be wrong

Jeff, sorry about the invite. I was informed at the last minute and forgot to spread the word. I think your idea is a good suggestion and maybe Dave can chime in on his thoughts since this is his bailiwick. BTW this was high class as some of us had cheap wine.

We use GotoMeeting for work...we can remote 10-16 locations
at the same time, share desktop, and includes
teleconference bridge...works very well. There are other
similar services.

I apologize for not announcing the get together. It was a spur of the moment thing as Ken was in the area. After I get version 2.1.5 out, I would definitely like to have an online bull session. Be it audio, chat, or video, I think it would be a very useful thing.

Let’s see if I can get you a little closer. Dave is married to the one in blue. Ken is married to the one in a different blue and my wife could not make the overnight trip because of prior commitments.
