Thanks - always nice to have faces to go with the handles. Still - a few years ago I decided to put a small home theater system in our TV room, shopping for speakers took me to our area's one remaining high-end stereo store. They were helpful, and let me borrow some different models to try at home (I eventually did buy there). Point is, I visited the store several times over a few weeks, sometimes at peak hours, and I came away with the vibe that their business had become "guys in their 50's selling to other guys in their 50s".
Looking at the picture above, all I can think is that I hope Home Automation isn't falling into the same demographic! 8-}

I too hope you are not right on that one Jeff.
PH is just too darn good to not be widely used and appreciated.
The Old Farts in the picture just happen to be retired geeks that have
the time and means to get together and the freedom to play around
with extensive home automation!

Rest assured that more automation is coming (sooner rather than later).
Who hasn't wanted their car to interact better with their cell phone? Who's cell phone is just a telephone anymore?
my 2 cents...BTW... I am a middle aged (44) fellow who sees lots of younger folks looking for more automation application/solutions to make their lives _______ (you fill in the blank).
Sounds like it was a good get together

Oh - I'm sure there will be more cellphone Apps that do certain things, and perhaps those app developers will be writing things on top of protocols like Insteon,
but traditional home automation (I want to program things in my home so that when I press this button, these 3 things happen, unless it's Tuesday, in which case it should be these 2 things), is not a place I see growth in the consumer market (and the fact that you can get an engineering degree without exposure to more than rudimentary programming doesn't help 8-{ )
