I checked through and was surprised this hasn't come up yet.
Would it be possible to make a small app that could communicate with a remote ph server to relay VR commands and speech to and from a remote pc? Just over a lan of course. :D
This was the only thing I liked about Homeseer when I tried the demo for 2 days. lol

You could do this with macros and the Socket Server....
Just execute a formula with the socketserver and send it to the remote PH-server.... or isn't that what you want?

That could accomplish much the same result. I was thinking more along the lines of a voice recognition helper app that just interfaces with the existing voice recognition commands on ph rather than having to create each action manually from scratch on each computer you might want to enable this on.

Guerrand,
This is planned, but has started taking shape yet since Im working out the details for the new Voice Recognition engine. You can currently get remote TTS using the DCC though, just not VR yet.
After the release version, I will be starting on the changes to the VR interface and that will be followed by a stand-alone, remote, VR app.

Guerrand,
Not yet...still planned . The remote VR app will be implemented using the new UDP and Socket Server functionality so we're getting there, just not fast enough.
Once the manual is complete (it's in process as we speak), we'll have a release version (finally!). Once the release version is done, I'll start up on the VR redesign (Ive got some new ideas I'd like to implement) and then do the remote VR app.
Dave.

Well, if the remote vr works as well as the remote cc and ds then it should be AWESOME.
