I'm new to powerhome but I have been looking for a good insteon software. The network spidering is awesome and the fact that you support good link management as well. However, once the devices are in, control is difficult for the average user because the interface is so complex and creating a control center takes forever, not to mention when you are done, you still can't see the status (on off etc). In summary:

* Simplify - should just be able to identify/add device, then drop into a simple control center/room to turn on off and see status.

Welcome to PowerHome!

Point well taken. Status objects on the Control Center will be coming and one of our users (Noel) has just put together a macro that will automatically create a basic Control Center for your Insteon devices.

We're a little slow, but we will definately get there
