I recently downloaded SAPI5 from Microsoft. I read that SAPI4 is what is supported. I get an error on loading the voice engine. Where can I get SAPI4 (and will that help me?)

I'm not at home now, but I believe I run SAPI5.

I also run SAPI5. Make sure you go to SETUP and then TTS and select SAPI 5.

Thanks, I changed that but I guess my error message dealt with the Voice Recognition. The only thing I changed was checked Enable VR, VR Autostart, and had the Global Grammar set to a grammar I added (but I changed it back to System).

I installed SAPI-5 a few months ago and I stopped working with VR... I simply can't get it to work with PH... I can train without PH running but when I start VR in PH there is no respons whatsoever...

From what I've read, there are a few VR programs that will not work with SAPI5 is there anyone who knows where I can find a copy of 4 to download?

From Dave's post:
You can download the SAPI 4 files off of the PowerHome download page. There are 3 files for a complete SAPI 4 installation...the speech API, the TTS files, and the VR files.
Generally, SAPI 5 works much better than SAPI 4 for TTS but VR is only supported with SAPI 4. Both SAPI 4 and SAPI 5 can coexist though. In my own setup, I use SAPI 4 for VR and SAPI 5 for TTS.
HTH,
Dave.

Thanks, worked like a charm. I'll start configuring it when I get some time.
