Are you still thinking about Global Cache support for the next or some not to distant version?

If so do you intend to support just the IR stuff or are you looking at the relays, sensors, and serial ports as well???

Paul,

Yes. It won't be the next version (or the next...that will be Elk support) but should be immediately following that. The support will include not just the IR but any relays, etc. that the Global Cache supports.
