It appears that the incoming IR triggers do not work.

From the event log, I can see my incoming IR (via a USB-UIRT). After re-learning the buttons in question a couple of times, I am unable to get the trigger to fire (trigger calls a macro).

It will not even fire if I set the trigger to fire on ANY incoming IR from the controlling device. Am I doing something wrong again???? or bug?????

Steve,

Make sure that "Enable Remote Control" option is checked in the Settings window of your controller setup (it's disabled by default). You'll need to reinitialize if you make any changes here.

Next, make sure that when you learned your IR codes, that the "Incoming Code" field was populated with data in the IR Equipment Details screen. If the above parameter was off, you'll probably need to relearn the codes you want to trigger on so that this data will be populated.

Let me know what you find.

Dave.

Well, I changed to a different remote to "learn" and then trigger off of. This new remote did allow me to trigger off whatever IR button I choose to set up (it worked fully).

I then when back to the problem remote. I deleted ALL, and re-set it back up (w/ appropriate PH shutdowns and start-ups along the way). While I could still "learn the remote, and still see incoming IR from the remote (in the event log), my triggers I re-set up still would not fire from this seemingly unique remote. I will keep playing....

The good news (for me) is that the IR triggers AREN'T BROKE!
