Spectrum is my main internet provider, and AT&T is our main cell
phone provider.
What I am noticing is that only a small fraction (1 or 2 per day) actually
arrive to my cell phone (as the text message quickly should).
My PowerHome send formula’s do work (in that they give the expected
“0” return result), but for whatever reason, the messages routinely
(mostly) NOT arrive to my cell phone.
I suspect that Spectrum is somehow blocking these out going e-mail
text message (maybe think that they are spam from a compromised
computer ....which they are not).
I have heard of an e-mail service that runs an encrypted tunnel
between you and it; and then it sends out the e-mails, vouching for the
fact that they are not spam, and making sure that their servers stay
OFF THE SPAM BLACKLISTS (but I don’t recall the name of the E-
MAIL service).
How are are other people handling this for time sensitive e-mail based
TEXT notifications? I don’t mind spending some $$....seems I have
more of that than time lately.
Many thanks,
Steve

AT&T was my provider for both (but Earthlink for email) forever and never had a problem with text messages. I recently switched to Comcast for Internet and it's still working.
