I would love for PH to support X10 cameras (XCam2, NightVision, etc.) so that with a window (like the status screen, explorer, etc.), you could view up to 4 cameras (stills taken every x seconds from each), switch to one camera for live feed viewing, etc.

Robert,

So would I

I have actually done some research into this and would like to add support for rudimentary camera viewing.  I couldnt estimate a time frame however since my priorities at this point are documentation and wizards to ease the learning curve.

In my own setup, I currently use PowerHome to control the cameras.  Not too fond of the X10 software.  I also use Webcam32 for remote viewing.  Its relatively cheap, however there are free software as well.  One such is Webcam2000 at: http://www.webcam2000.info/.  Another good one is DCAM at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/dcamserver/.

Dave.
