I'm trying to control how often a macro runs.  I started by creating a global variable {LAST PLAY} into which I store today().  From here I can't seem to find anything that will touch it.  Things that will work with today() won't work with {LAST PLAY}, even though {LAST PLAY} was created from today().  Help me and my MicroBrain out here.

I worked out a way to do this (kinda) using three variables.  It will not work properly at the top of every hour, so if you can think of a more elegant method please let me know.

Bob,

If you could export and post (or email) the macro and related code, I can take a look and should be able to come up with something.  Im out of town for the holidays though and may not be able to give a full answer until I get back Sunday.

Dave.
