Hi there,
I just replaced a few insteon devices and I would like to try to use the Insteon Replace ID column in the Insteon Explorer, but I can't find any usage info the help file. I did a search on here but didn't find any actual usage info.

Just went through this. Basically, the easiest thing to do is:

1) Write down the new device ID.
2) Remove old device, install the new one.
3) In PH Devices, under the Replace Address ID, enter the new address.
4) Click save. This will delete/recreate new links. Note that the new device is disabled, so you'd need to enable it and click save to finish writing the links.

That should be it... I wasn't 100% sure if the new device ID is added to the PLC, so I went back and just cleared the PLC database and re-added the devices.

Remember that any macros, formulas, etc, that use the specific device address (not the ID you made up for it) will have to be manually corrected.
