ProgressStart
ProgressMax=1024
Progress=0%,0,1024
Progress=12%,128,1024
Progress=25%,256,1024
Progress=37%,384,1024

ProgressEnd=True
PLC:getlinks=false,failed due to corrupted database

i tried to reset, erase database, update coreapp, everything...

reset seems to work.
erase database work.
update coreapp work.
copy insteon links to the plc works.
but after all, it keeps showing about database corrupted.

this is what it shows when I try to download timercoreapp again:

ui:dl=timercoreapp
ProgressStart
ProgressMax=4606
Progress=0%,0,4606
ProgressError=0%,0,4606
...
Progress=0%,0,4606
ProgressError=0%,0,4606
Progress=0%,0,4606
ProgressStart
ProgressMax=4606
Progress=0%,0,4606
ProgressError=0%,0,4606
Progress=0%,0,4606
...
ProgressError=0%,0,4606
Progress=0%,0,4606
ProgressEnd=True
PLC:dl=4606
uifinished:dl=timercoreapp

the led is continuously blinking at 1 sec intervals.

btw, i have 2 PLCs 2414U and both are doing the same as described.

is it dead?

thanks

Gustavo

Had a similar problem and it turned out to be a USB problem.

update,

the problem was the plc, the old one used for almost 2 years.
i just fixed the plc, replaced 2 Eletrolitic capacitors (100uf/6.3v)by new ones. the plc starts working after that.

other plc, the newer one (spare, just in case) keeps showing the database corrupted information. i would like to know if someone knows how to (really) reset this unit so i can upload coreapp, saladapp all over again, direct from SDM console.

cheers,

Gustavo

Update-2!!!

now both PLCs are working :)

1st one was 2 capacitors of 100uf x 6.3v replaced with 100uf x 25v and expect no more problems for a long time :)

2nd one was eeprom corrupted. this one was harder to fix. needed to erase the corrupted eeprom data with a pic programmer and download the salad app again. this time plc worked fine after the download. :)

hope this information could help someone with same problems.
