I just started getting into PowerHome and I really like it. But from all the reading ( I just finished reading the manual, it is really long) I noticed that there doesn't seem to be any support for any IR inputs ( other than learning)

Can you implement support for the IRMan. http://www.evation.com/irman/.

There is a lot of software written for this and some VB6 ocx's that has the source code so you can see how to interact with this device.

I've been using it for a year or so and it works really well.  Some universal remotes don't work with it though as it cycles the code and its hard to train it.

Patrick,

Currently only the CPU-XA/Ocleot controller is supported for incoming IR signals .

I took a look at the IRMan and after some reading, it looks like it should be able to be added fairly easily.  I did a fairly quick look at the website and didn't see any documentation on the programming protocol.  Could you point me in the direction of where I can download some sample code or preferably a document describing the serial protocol?

Here is where they keep the ocx with source code and some sample code http://www.adcock8.freeserve.co.uk/irmanocx.htm   I'll keep looking to see if I can find more for you to reference.

I downloaded the sample code and source and will be taking a look at it shortly.
