Are there any plans to include xAP support in PowerHome?
It would make a very powerful contoller if PowerHome could understand and talk xAP and operate as an xAP X10 connector via the interfaces it already supports.
I'm new to home automation and having looked around the automation/control software I settled on PowerHome because it is such a powerful and flexible package for a very modest sum of money.
Now I've been playing with xAP recently and have to say it's great fun and seems to have potential, being able to see and send xAP in PowerHome scripts and macros would be amazing.

David,
I'll take a look at it. PowerHome already has plugin support for xPL (the sister protocol to xAP) and an xPL controller module is currently under development. With this plugin, you can already send and receive xPL messages with triggers and macros.
If you compare xPL and xAP, you may find an equivalent xPL module already created since there is alot of cross development. You can read about xPL here: http://wiki.xplproject.org.uk/index.php/Main_Page.
After the xPL support is completed, I'll look into the xAP support (they're very similar).
HTH,
Dave.
