Seems like with the addition of the Repository, we shouldn't be gunking it up and potentially confusing people. What do you think?

Not really, just trying to nip it in the bud.
Maybe your settings are only showing the last month of posts?

the repository is IMHO for publishing macros and such and not for discussing... btw: initial settings show only the last month.. can this be changed?

I agree with krommetje. The repository should be for publishing the macros, etc, along with install notes, upgrades/updates and so forth, but not discussions such as "I tried to use this but it's not working". Those should be opened as new topics in the Programming section. If a "bug" or something comes from that conversation, the orginal poster could update the repository entry with the necessary changes or just a warning such as "look out for this when installing", etc.
If the repository could be setup so that only the original poster could make changes to the posts, perhaps that might be a thought.
Just my 2 cents

OK, I’m guilty… Peter and Cicero I do agree. In the future I’ll post CID problems in Programming arena. Got my vote.
