I have 2 identical ControLincs that I have tried to link the same. 1 links fine but the other will not link to the MBR_BED. It appears both are being Poked but the bad one has a different return on the 4th and 5th return. Also the good one scans the ControLinc and the bad one doesn’t. The traces were trapped by clicking on the link and Reverify then Save. Any thoughts..

Did you try making the Bedroom Ctrl Pete device the current device and clicking on Rebuild. The Reverify confirms the ControLinc side of the link is missing but I did not think Reverify would automatically rebuild the link.

As usual you nailed it. OK you old PSR ( private joke ). What is the difference between REBUILD and REVERIFY?

How about one fixes the problem, one does not! My apologies Pete, I did not think I had any jokes left in this old PSR body. Rebuild actually rewrites the link definitions for the selected device, correcting anything that is missing in the selected device.   Reverify just retrieves the current device link information, leaving anything that is missing, still missing. I did that from memory but I think that is right.
