Newbie here, in the process of changing over from another product. I was wondering if there is an easy way to add basic Thermostat controls to the Control Center (for a Venstar Insteon device). The wizard (and Insteon Explorer) seem to treat the device as a Light Switch.

ppactor,

Not yet. In the very near future, the Insteon thermostat control will be integrated within PowerHome so there will be no need for any special programming. At this time though, the easiest way to get the thermostat on the Control Center is to use one of the Insteon thermostat macros that stores the temperature and settings in a global variable and then place the global on the CC. That way when then global changes (from the macro during a timed event), the CC screen will automatically update without having to resort to the CC Update functions.

Dave.
