Hi,

I am interested in home automation and find the bids for home automation experts totally out of line. I got to this site from the DIY HA page.

I am technically pretty savvy but not interested in starting with Powerhome from scratch. Is there a PowerHome Home Automation expert in the Sacramento area who can help setup a system and get me going? I am not looking for free help and will pay for your time.

First, welcome to PowerHome. I think if you scan the forum you’ll find a lot of help for whatever topic coming from this forum. That being said I personally wouldn’t spend any money on an “expert” unless he was a friend. Almost any problem you encounter or any questions you may have will normally be answered very quickly. Give it a try and see what happened.
