Did web-based authentication change in 2.1.4? It seems that my iPhone 'iHome2' app can no longer authenticate to PH, which makes me _very_ sad. It's my understanding that the app passes login credentials through the url in the form of:
http://[username]:[password]@[PH url:port]

But where that was working on 2.1 it now seems to be being intercepted and rerouting to a login box.

Is there any way to restore that url-based authentication functionality so as to be able to continue using iHome?

Answered my own question. Noticed the new 'Authmode' option in the Webserver section of the .ini which lead me to the webserver setup where Dave has so kindly added an 'authentication' option and switching from the new Cookies default to Basic restored my (highly insecure) login method. iHome app now back online.
