I have posted a "how-to" document in the Forum Macros, Scripts, and Formula Repository that describes how to automatically backup the PowerHome db and auto trim the collection to not exceed 30 items (since I backup every night).

I've posted the Visual Basic 2010 Express raw code so that you can change things to fit your environment.

I've opened this thread for comments, questions in order to keep them out of the Repository area.
