Hi & Happy New Year!

I have the Web server running in default mode and can access the various pages.

I've created a page under CONTROL CENTER called WEB.

How do I configure things so that the default screen seen via Web access is the Control Center page called WEB?

Thanks!
/j

(PS - I did look through the docs but couldn't find anything quite on point, admittedly I may have missed it)

Jeff,

Happy New Year!

If you've created a Control Center tab and it doesnt show on the Control Center screen (alt-F1), make sure you've set a "Tab Order" > 0 on the Control Center tab screen in PH Explorer.

Once you've got the CC showing properly within PH, access the PH main web page via browser. At the top, you'll see a "Control Center" hyperlink. Click this to bring up the web version of the Control Center. Copy/Paste the URL that this opens. Back in PH Explorer under PowerHome|Setup|Web, scroll down until you see the "Main Page" section. Paste the CC URL you copied here and close PH Explorer. Reinit/Restart PH and the CC should be your main page that opens when you hit the webserver.

Hope this helps,

Dave.

Hi Dave - Thanks for the quick response. I hope life is treating you well.

I figured out the Tab Order thing. As for the other, I had originally tried modifying the Main Page to be /ph-cgi/controlcenter? and for some reason it didn't make a difference. I didn't pursue it, because it was easy on the browser to create a shortcut with

http://IP-addr/ph-cgi/controlcenter?

and that works fine. Still - That shortcut always displays the MAIN tab. I'd like to browse directly to the custom ("WEB") tab by default. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

Jeff,

Just specify the ID of the CC you wish to navigate to like this:

http://phmachine/ph-cgi/controlcenter?id=WEB

Or you could make the WEB CC tab have the lowest tab order (number the tab order in the order you want them to appear). When you specify just the CC without an ID then it defaults to the lowest tab order (> 0).

Dave.
