I have downloaded and installed Powerhome twice and am unable to get the "control panel" screen. I am installing per the directions on a ME machine. Am I missing something here, or is it a problem? I have removed and rebooted and reinstalled on a "clean" machine. Susgestions??
thanks

Have you tried using the sample database? You can enable the sample database by editing the pwrhome.ini file and changing the DSN=PowerHome line to DSN=PowerHome Sample. Restart PowerHome. If you still dont see the Control Center, do you get any kind of error message or indication that PowerHome is failing? Does PowerHome launch at all and can you open the PowerHome Explorer? Also, does the Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere program launch? It will either be on the task bar or in the system tray. If the database engine is not launching properly, you wont get a Control Center.
