Win10 PH2.1.5c Startup Problem:

When trying to start PH A "Connect to SQL Anywhere" box
comes up with ID and Password to login. Already filled
in with ID: ph and PW: ph. Click OK then a database
already in use error comes up. Click OK and PH process
terminates. Any suggestions? This just started
happening.

z2aspen,

I know you said this just started happening but did anything recently change on the machine that is running PowerHome? Any recent changes concerning UAC?

Other things to check for this problem: Is PowerHome installed in c:\powerhome? On Windows 7 and up, PowerHome needs to be installed in c:\powerhome vs c:\program files\powerhome to deal with the virtualization and UAC issues. Also, make sure that PowerHome is being launched with "Run as Administrator". You can right-click the PH shortcut and fix this on the Compatibility tab.

Let me know,

Dave.
