Dave

I'm having trouble replacing a Global Variable (String) with the contents of another Global Variable (String). . . ie Set Global {Old Mode} = {Mode}, I can get the Global Variable {Old Mode} to be "{Mode}" but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to assume the string value in {Mode}.

Bob,

My first guess is that you may not be capitalizing the "{MODE}".  All GV ID's are capitalized.  When PowerHome is doing the GV substitution, it will check this and if it's not all caps will assume that this is not a substitution.  So if your globals are {OLD MODE} and {MODE}, then the correct syntax would be: Set Global {OLD MODE} "{MODE}".

Dave.
