Hey Guys,

I have not used Powerhome to create/delete links in a while, so I may be doing things wrong (I honestly can't remember a lot of how PH's interface works).

I am trying to use the Insteon Explorer, and I'm noticing a lot of things are acting strange. Let me start with the fact that I'm using the newest PH and the SDM that ships with it. When I go into the Insteon Explorer, I can not get any actions to be queued up. I can create and delete links, but I always get "Create Pending" or "Delete Pending" and nothing in the Insteon queue. I have tried turning the link polling on and off, but I get nothing.

Any advice is appreciated.

Go to DEVICE tab, check the FAILED column. Any in pink will NOT work. Click the top of the column and then "save/refresh" to clear the failed flags.

cmhardwick,

Thanks! That was it. All of my devices were flagged failed. Kind of obscure. Why do failed devices fail for ever?

there's a maximum failed number, on the top, near where you set the polling rate. If this is exceeded for any device, PH marks it failed and doesn't try again.
