I was getting a "ISRESPONDING command failed" message whenever PowerHome (PH) came up under Vista.

With the help of Dave, we found that by registering the SDM wrapper phsdm as a Local_Machine key, versus under Current_User, PH succeeded in communicating with the SDM.

The attached file did it for me. Just change the file type to .reg and Merge; double check also the directory where the phsdm.ocx actually resides.

The mistery is that PH used to work find with Vista without this adjustment. Does anybody have a theory as to why it worked then didn't ?

Dave: answered every email I sent him and spent close to 2 hours working with me on resolving this. Some serious commitment ! THANK YOU.

Did you disable or enable UAC? That would cause the change.
