Hey you all,
since I moved PH to another server (proliant), PH cannot check it's mail through ph_processemailthread()
The default MAPI is thunderbird and a mailto:... works just fine.
Digging through the registry turns nothing UP, all keys seem to be OK.... can I have missed something here?

No, Thunderbird did not solve it either, I uninstalled Thunderbird and did a mailto:.. and
got an error saying unable to connect to the device or no rights to connect to it....
At least I know now that it can be 2 things:
MAPI closed with a group/security policy or there is a setting in the registry which I did not find yet.
I think since the last administrator had office installed on it (i got the server from a school for installing a new proliant), I think office has left some settings in the registry about MAPI ...
hope to find the answer soon with the help of you all....

Update:
Eudora didn't do it for me either....
Been looking around and Here is a piece of text:
"MAPI has its own memory management model that conflicts with and is incompatible with the .NET runtime"
since this proliant server runs .NET environment, MAPI is not available, and thus the plugin won't work either.
Things can be read here:
msdnblogs
So I can write-off email control when PH coexists on a server with IIS .....
Dave??? can you think of a workaround this in a next version?
