I have a basic splitter for speaker wires. It's fed by a
basic amp, and each pair of speakers has an impedance
matching volume controller...

I'm looking for a way to be able to turn each pair of
speakers on or off using PH. Anyone have thoughts or a
pointer on something that PH can control that will
cut/reenable the signal to each set of wires?

(Yes, I'm keeping this on the cheap...)

Thanks!

What price point are you looking for. Two I/O Lincs or one EZIO4O would provide the On/Off relay control of the two audio lines if opening the line would not cause an impedance problem. There are some RS-232 based cards on the market with output relays that may be less expensive if you have the hardware to interface to RS-232.
