Hi all,

I had a major crash and my entire server burned out and all was lost including the HD... Fortunatly my google-drive contained a backup DB however now I have PH running on a dual-processor 3gHz PC running Win 2008 server. I have it up and running again but I can't seem to get TTS working. I get an this error:

Code:

An error occurred while processing the execution queue. Resetting execution queue and trying again. *** Error Details *** Error Number: 35 Object Name: uo_tts_sapi5 Class: uo_tts_sapi5 Routine Name: f_speak Line: 3 Text: Error calling external object function speak at line 3 in function f_speak of object uo_tts_sapi5.

Peter,

Sorry to hear about your crash.

It sounds as if the SAPI files haven't been installed yet. On the PowerHome download page, make sure you have the MSSPCHAPI.EXE, MSTTSL.EXE, and MSCSRGL.EXE files installed (in that order).

Next, download and install the SAPI5 setup from http://www.power-home.com/download/sapi5setup.exe

Restart PowerHome and let me know where that gets you.

Dave.

Yep that did the trick although I had to reboot before PH could use TTS.
