Does anyone have the Smart Home Hacks book by O'Reilly?

Wanted to get some opinions of the book, specifically if what they present can be translated/used with PowerHome. I did hear that the book is very Mac-centric. The link above has a few sample chapters you can download (PDFs).

Can anyone recommend any other home automation books that are out there that have good ideas for home automation?

I checked out the link and viewed all of the sample chapters. You're right, it's very mac centric with some Homeseer samples as well.

The real value in the book would probably be mainly for home automation ideas though, from what I saw, it looked like most of what they presented could be translated into PowerHome if one was faily comfortable with PH functions and such.

Sorry to not be of much help. Hopefully someone else who has the book could comment.
