I picked up an Insteon Hub 2245-222 for $40 just to
play
with. Anyone know the correct or best way to add it to
the powerhome devices? I tried adding it and it really
just seemed to have issues talking to it. I guess
don't
expect PH to really do anything with it. I just want
PH
to recognize it and the links on other devices. So
far,
I'm not impressed with it. The idea of entering IDs
manually or holding buttons down to add them to create
the links and get them into the "cloud" seems painful.

Powerhome tries to talk to it until I disable and
delete it. I keeps trying "Create I2CS Initial"
An log shows below, over and over forever.

RX Insteon Ext Timeout
RX Insteon NAK=31 xx xx xx

I wasn't thinking of using it to replace my PLM. I was
just looking to make PowerHome see it so the links the
hub creates in other devices don't show up as "Unknown"
in PH. I guess I don't care if PH can actually talk to
it. I guess I could treat it like a remote and leave it
disabled....
