My PLM died and I'm trying to replace it with a
2413SH. I added the controller in the setup section,
but it seems that it doesn't show up in the Insteon
devices.

Also, when I attempt to move any device over to it I
get this:

A critical error occurred at 2014-12-24 08:18:17.517.

PowerHome Version: 2.1.5a
Error Number: 3
Error Message: Array boundary exceeded at line 3 in
function f_setstatus of object uo_controller_ancestor.
Window: uo_controller_ancestor
Object: uo_controller_ancestor
Event: f_setstatus
Line: 3

Thoughts?

So...it would appear that I might have a bad serial port
and moving the controller to the other serial port makes
this problem mostly go away.

I've nearly got everything moved over to the new
controller and it seems to be working as expected now.
I've still gotten that same error a couple times, but I
think it was just lingering things hanging out there.

Is it normal for it to make a ton (seems like it's more
than one for each device) of "SCAN NEW I2CS LINK" calls
when installing a new controller?

When I installed the Hub and the Dongle I saw a bunch. I believe it is because of the newer firmware using I2CS.

Travis,

Its normal for all the newer I2CS devices. You should normally only see a max of three Create I2CS initial links per device.

Dave.
