I understand that scenes are groups. I also understand
how to create a plc group in the IE. I am confused about
how to add devices to these groups. For example, i have
a keypadlinc (6 button) where button 3 is cross-linked
with a togglelinc. I recall from some time back that it
was possible to create a group and have the group be a
responder to a scene and by turning the scene on and
off, the keypadlinc button would respond if the command
was sent from powerhome. That was some time ago and I
cannot recall the steps on how I made this work.
Thanks for any help refreshing my memory on this.

I think I have this sorted out. I did some more
reading about the different types of groups and came
to realize that I needed to create a plc/plm group by
dragging the appropriate devices to the responder side
of the plm controller and assign the group number that
I created in the IE plc/plm groups tab to them.
I also added the plm group as a responder and a
controller to the togglelinc by dragging the plm
controller device into the necessary portion of the
togglelinc and assigning the group number as above.
Next, i created some Insteon Direct Out triggers to
activate macros that turns on/off the group.
Now, my keypadlinc button LED comes on anywhere I
activate
the togglelinc.
