Does anyone have some?

Just want to upgrade to version 191. I have the MSI from Smarthome, ubt it puts the files in a different place than powerhome, and when I start powerhome, I get two instances of the SDM running... 163 (from the \smarthome subdirectory under powerhome, and 191, from the \program fiels\common files\ subdirectory...

Carl,

No problem...you may also want to try the absolute latest SDM version 202. You can get it here: http://www.power-home.com/download/sdm202.zip.

To upgrade, shutdown PowerHome and make sure the SDM shuts down as well. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the PowerHome directory (default c:\program files\powerhome). Beneath this directory will be a "SmartHome" directory and beneath that will be a "Device Manager" directory. Either delete or rename the "Device Manager" directory. Then just unzip the file above into the same location. Restart PowerHome. You can verify that you're running the correct SDM by going to the system tray and clicking on the "T" icon and then looking at the title of the SDM window.

HTH,

Dave.

Correct me if I am wrong Dave but this will cause problems with the multiple copies running... You need to delete/uninstall one.

Already uninstalled the 191, since PowerHome seems to start both copies...

I did what Dave said and also had two iterations start up. Not sure what happened, but I renamed the old folder again, and all is well.

All,

If you follow my instructions, it does seem to start two copies .

The fix should be to manually launch the SDM3.exe from the new install for the first time. After that, it should launch just the latest.

Let me know,

Dave.
