I am desparate to dump (a certain nameless HA software from the boys in
NH) that crashes more than my RC airplane. From what I have read so far,
I'm fairly impressed the PH. But the one thing I really, really want to be able
to do is control my HAI Thermostats.
Can PH control HAI thermostats?

AFAIK, no one has written a macro for these. One 'stat looks to have RS232, so it should be possible.
I wrote some code for an RCS TX15B, which I use.

Karl,
What kind of interface does the HAI thermostats use for remote control? As Tony stated, the RS-232 ones should be controllable without any problems using the built-in PowerHome serial functions.
Depending upon if the protocol is published and the interface that is used, it may be something that I can build into a later version of PowerHome.

The protocol is RS-232 and it is published. I'm sure I could write something
to work. But I was hoping that someone else had already done it.
Dave, would you like me to send you the protocol?

Karl,
Certainly...pass it on to me. If it's something simple, I'll do up a macro.
When I get the plug-in support done, it'll be something that I can then convert over to that format.
Dave.
