Hey Guys,
I can not seem to get the database to remember the ID that I put in under Control Center->Tab name->Action Type Device Control
I have a control center tab called TEST. I click on TEST and I see "Control Center Item Details". I have sequence 10, ID TEST, Text Button, Action Type Device Control.
Then I double click in the ID colum and choose:
- Insteon
- Pick my ID
- Choose On
and click Ok. I click on another cell to make sure the DB updates (not sure when the DB updates).
Now if I click F5 that info that showed up in the ID cell disappears. It also disappears if I click on a different tab and come back.
What am I doing wrong? How do I get the ID to stick?

I see what you see.
I suggest you edit the CC in the CC Design View. Go into the CC tab that you want to edit, right click, and select Design View.

This was bugging me too. I just started to design my interface and couldn't get the basic stuff to work until I saw this. My motivation is back.

Checked this out and it is a bug. It also happens when using the "Raw Formula" and the helper screen. If you just typed the formula or the Device Control info without using the helper windows, it will save. Basically the helper windows are not saving the data properly.
Anyways, Ive got this fixed for the next version and in the meantime, just do like Tony suggests and use the CC Design View (you'll probably prefer it anyway).
Thanks for catching this.
Dave.
