When will there be support for the EZRain Irrigation Controller?
There is currently no EZRain device in the Insteon Device List.
I have added my EZRain, but cannot create a link to my controller.
This company is planning to release some new devices that I look forward to using.
Thanks...
Please help!

You should be able to add any device that you have info on to the Insteon Types table in the PH Explorer...
I just found this documentation on the Insteon commands it uses:
http://simplehomenet.com/Downloads/EZRain%20Command%20Set.pd f
Dave may need to confirm that these can be sent with the current setup.

I was able to add the Device, but I could not link it to my Contoller.
Must be something that I am doing incorrectly.

Do you mean create the link in PH from the device to the PLC?

Yes. Maybe I am being ignorant about how to do this. I thought that if I brought the device into focus, all I had to do was drag a control device, or in other cases, a responder to that device and it would create a link. Am I wrong?

click on the device you want to link in the middle. On the right side, click on what you want it linked to. If that device you are linking to will CONTROL you new device, click the left arrow at the TOP and it will move it over to the "controllers" area. For devices that will RESPOND to this device, same thing but click the left arrow at the bottom to put it in the "responders" area.

I have not obtained one of these devices yet so am not sure exactly what would be needed in order to add support. Ive done some reading up on it however and it supports the new Insteon linking protocol so may have problems with the current version of PowerHome.
In order to have any possibility of success however, you would want to create a new Insteon Type and make sure that the PowerLinc column is checked.
Im deep into the Elk support at the moment and will look into this further when I get a chance.
Thanks,
Dave.
