Some strangeness has started with timed events. My Dusk/Dawn macro creates events for my porch light to go on and off. As of yesterday, although the macro functions, as soon as the event is created, it is removed! I found this by playing the macro and switching to the Timed Events section in the PH explorer. They show up at first, but, refreshing shows them gone!

Any clue on why this could be happening?

Tony,

Are you logging macros and timed events?  If so, does the log shed any light on the situation?  I can understand the timed events showing up and then gone right away when you test the macro by manually executing it if the timed event times are prior to the time that you actually testing the macro .

Have you tried shutting down the timed events from the menu and then running the macro?  Are the timed event times proper?

Let me know.

Dave.

I looked at the log, and the events are there! The one I was focusing on last night was PORCH LIGHT OFF, which would have been scheduled for this morning. The log shows that the event happened, but, the light did not go off (guess I have to start looking around for new stuff sucking the signal down).

This does not explain, though, why the events were not in the timed events screen. I'll look at your suggestions and look closer at the dates and times tonight; maybe that system's clock is off.

Duh! I guess [DUSK] means today's dusk!  That has to have been the problem. There must be some noise here, though, becasue the light was not on when I got home, and, it was in the log.

Tony,

Hehe...Yeah, I would say that is probably the problem.

If the light was not on, then it was probably some noise or glitch that caused it.  Keep an eye on it and let me know if it's something I need to take a look at.

Dave.
